Case Studies

Here are some selected engagements that showcase how ERP clarity and process redesign can help reduce operational complexity and improve decision-making.

Bhagwati Foods Pvt. Ltd. – CoralERP Implementation Case Study

Client Profile: Bhagwati Foods Pvt. Ltd. is a leading biscuit manufacturer operating multiple production units across two states. The organization required an integrated ERP platform to streamline accounting, compliance, and operations across its Head Office and factories.

Before CoralERP Implementation:

• Accounts & stock for each unit were maintained in a standalone accounting software.
• And all other work was done using Excel.
• None of their processes were IT enabled or properly planned.
• Regular compliances, finalisation, and reports relating to operations, were all time consuming and error-prone processes.

After CoralERP Implementation:

• CoralERP was deployed on a single, centralized database supporting:
• Multiple business units and the Head Office
• Multiple financial years within the same system

The following departments were covered exclusively:

- Financial accounting & compliances with seamless banking integration
- Fixed assets accounting
- Customer engagement - order booking, schemes, fulfilment and post sales incentivisation
- Procurement
- Manufacturing - Own
- Manufacturing - OEMs
- HR & Payroll with biometrics attendance

• Processes across all the departments were discussed, conceptualised and IT enabled.
• As a result, the right person can get the right information at the right time across the entire organisation.
• Furthermore, robust internal controls were also put in place.
• CoralERP therefore helped Bhagwati manage its extensive growth with conceptual clarity, logistical order and integrated systems.

Sangeet Syntex Pvt Ltd - Knitted Fabric & T-Shirt Manufacturer

Client Profile: Sangeet Syntex Ltd. (SSL) began its journey with texturising POY into Textured Yarn (PTY). Over the years, the company strategically forward-integrated into knitted greige fabric manufacturing, finished knitted fabric processing, and T-shirt manufacturing. This vertically integrated model provided SSL the advantage of extensive value addition across the manufacturing process and much better margins eventually.

Before CoralERP Implementation:

• From Day One, SSL had always maintained well-defined processes and generated meaningful MIS reports manually.
• They were already using our ACE – Business Accounting Software and a dedicated Packing Software.

• However, factory operations were not fully integrated with the accounting system, often resulting in:

- Limited real-time visibility between Head Office and factory
- Manual compilation of operational MIS
- Higher dependency on reconciliation efforts

After CoralERP Implementation:

• CoralERP seamlessly integrated Head Office operations with factory processes, creating a unified, real-time system across the enterprise.
• SSL now has deft control over inventory of Finished Goods Raw Materials.
• They are able to track greigh fabric sent to Process Houses (up to Roll No wise tracking).
• They can also generate MIS, whether for operations or accounts finalisation.
• They now have an integrated Mobile App for shop floor.
• SSL also has access toHR and Payroll processes, along with real time integration with biometrics machines.
• There is also full Banking Integration.
• Seamless integration with the in-house portal of a key customer leading to faster order fulfilment and timely realisation.

Universal TVS - 2 Wheeler Dealership for TVS Motors

Client Profile: Universal TVS is one of the leading dealerships for TVS Motorcycle & Scooters in India having 5 showrooms, 3 Workshops and 1 Godown. Such an automobile dealership is not just a trading activity but also enables value addition at multiple stages from providing customer experiences to customers in showrooms to vehicle delivery and number plate fixation. Such automobile dealerships are mandated to use Dealer Management System (DMS) provided by the principal, although the DMS does not cover end-to-end accounting / compliance and matters relating to multi-stage value additions.

Before CoralERP Implementation:

• Universal TVS were managing their dealership with an Accounting Software, DMS, Google Sheets and a 16-page Booking Form.

• The booking form is at the heart of showroom operations covering a buyer’s journey described below:
- Vehicle Booking with a token advance
- Vehicle Financing, if opted for
- Full payment and allocation of Chassis No
- Insurance (multiple options)
- Registration with the Motor Vehicles
- Delivery of Vehicles along with Accessories

• Number Plate affixation
• Tracking the status of booking forms across showrooms was painful. Tracking issues relating to Insurance (back-to-back liability & invoicing and associated incentives receivables) and Registration was also mammoth.
• Similar was the issue at workshops, whose operations are heavily dependent on DMS, integrating with Accounts was not seamless and monitoring key performance matrix was not feasible.

After CoralERP Implementation:

• First, a Mobile App was developed covering all showroom operations and the Booking Form was completely digitised.
• Further, showroom and workshop operations were integrated with Financial Accounting.
• Third party integration was also done with the DMS & Insurance portals.

• The following cutting-edge features are notable:
- Unloading at Godown
- Managing Damages
- Auto Requisitions by Showrooms & Movement of Vehicles
- Stock Audit in just few hours
